For winter heating assistance, a portion of OKDHS's public assistance beneficiaries already have pre-approval and do not need to submit an application. It has been communicated to these households that they're eligible for winter heating assistance. OKDHS assistance recipients who were qualified for the Winter Heating open enrollment period but whose residences did not meet the requirements for preauthorized selection received a letter.
